FAQ

I offer both telehealth sessions and in-person sessions in my office in Clintonville.

My hours tend to vary and are generally set based on appointments made. However, I am typically available on weekday mornings, most afternoons, and Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings until 8:00 PM.

Yes. While in-person meetings are preferred, telehealth options are available for all in-state clients.

My office is located at 3805 N. High St. in Columbus, commonly referred to as the Clintonville area.

My out-of-pocket rate is $175 per one-hour-long session.

I am on the panel with nearly all of the major insurance carriers, as well as a few other platforms such as Spring Health. However, I tend to have a long wait list for clients with most insurance plans.

I do not. I only work with adults, aged 18 to 100 years.

Yes. I am a member of the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network and can see veterans as long as the VA approves the service request. I am also a veteran myself.

Yes, but not frequently. However, I am willing and able to work with married couples or couples in significant relationships.

For my established clients, who have attended their initial session, I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If a client needs to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, I consider these on a case-by-case basis.

I received my master’s degree in social work from the Ohio State University in 2008. While I was studying there, I interned with the VA’s Vet Center, which is where I was also working at the time. I stayed there for a few years after graduation, after passing my licensure exam.

I then moved on to gain other experience in areas such as residential treatment for clients with severe and persistent mental health issues, addiction treatment, inpatient rehab centers, and elderly, assisted living facilities working with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.

I have been doing independent practice for the past five years.

I was born in Pennsylvania, but my family moved to Ohio when I was four years old, and I spent my high school years growing up in central Ohio.

I have two adult children and one 10-year-old son.
